Itinerary
Begin your Southern Queensland adventures with an afternoon private tour of Brisbane’s buzzy food and drink scene: from coffee to cocktails, beers and bites.
Accommodation: The Calile Hotel, Brisbane (2 nights)
From market garden tours to buzzy Brisbane cocktail bars, wine and dine your way around Brisbane with a private degustation day, touring the hinterland by road and by helicopter to enjoy fine wines, tasty cheeses, spectacular views, a two-course lunch and cocktails to finish.
And, if you still have room for more, we can recommend a dinner at Hellenika this evening
Accommodation: The Calile Hotel, Brisbane
Transfer to Brisbane airport for the short, scheduled flight to World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island.
With hiking, diving, fishing, snorkelling, wildlife, golf and more on the menu, visitors are spoilt for choice – but with the divine Capella Lodge as your base, the temptation of staying put is often just as inviting.
On arrival, enjoy a signature welcome drink to help settle into your surrounds, then unpack, unwind and prepare to be indulged!
Daily breakfast, sunset drinks, island-inspired dinners and evening wines are included with your stay.
Accommodation: Capella, Lord Howe Island (3 nights)
From lodge-baked breakfast treats to sunset canapes and daily-changing dinner menus, Capella dishes up the finest local produce from this island blessed with fertile soils and bountiful seas.
Discover island indulgences in every form: from the Capella dining room to the day spa; and beyond. Explore this tiny island by bicycle or by boat with a local guide by your side. Walk in the shade of giant Banyan trees, follow the trail up Malabar Hill for stunning island views or challenge yourself to hike the towering Mt Gower. Swim with turtles, wander with woodhens and hand-feed the fish at Ned’s beach.
Return to the lodge to reward yourself with a Baillie’s 9 gin or a Wild Lemon and Hibiscus gin from the local Lord Howe Island Distilling co; before sitting down to dinner to drink in the stunning ocean and mountain views.
Accommodation: Capella, Lord Howe Island
The day is yours to do exactly as you please, we do however suggest you ask the chefs to pack a picnic for you to enjoy a ‘beach barbie’ as the locals do.
Enjoy a final sunset with complimentary drinks and canapes at Lover’s Bay (we pretty sure you’ll fall in love here!).
