Vatuvara is an exclusive island hideaway in one of the most remote and untouched corners of Fiji.
The Northern Lau Islands are a smattering of 60 islands and islets spread across an expansive 500 square kilometres, far to east of Fiji’s main island. This is as about as remote as it gets in Fiji! One of these islands, the dreamy Kaibu, is home to Vatuvara, one of Fiji’s most exclusive private island resorts. Groups of up to six people are accommodated over Vatuvara’s three villas set amongst tropical gardens, with each boasting an infinity pool and ocean views. Guests can enjoy cultural experiences, endless water activities, massages and therapies, and even get in some putting practice on Vatuvara’s four hole golf course.
Vatuvara’s three villas, Delana, Saku and Vatu, are each individually designed but share similar locations amongst lush tropical gardens with views of the ocean. Each accommodates two guests in beautifully large bedrooms with king beds. In the adjoining ensuites, two villas features gorgeous stone baths, while the third has a full jacuzzi. Each villa offers large deck areas with infinity pools overlooking the ocean.
The island operates completely on solar power and employees sustainable practices in everything it does 'from ridge to reef'.
