Built with a dedicated studio, Te Arai Lodge is a must for anyone seeking yoga and wellness classes.
Boasting a spectacular location, Te Arai lodge is a boutique exclusive-use lodge property surrounded by acres of ancient podocarp forest and native bush. Its elevated position atop a ridgeline affords guests expansive views across rolling hills towards the beaches and islands of the Mangawhai coast. Te Arai Lodge’s design is inspired by the natural surrounds, and the ambience is distinctly welcoming. Enjoy authentic ‘garden-to-table’ dining at this serviced private villa style property. Organic produce grown on the estate is complemented by fresh local ingredients including line-caught fish sourced very close to the property.

Just under two hours’ drive north of Auckland, and available on an exclusive use basis only, Te Arai Lodge ideally caters to six guests in the two main suites and the standalone cottage. However, on special request, a bunk room and an owner’s suite can be added to accommodate up to twelve guests. Te Arai Lodge’s beautifully decorated suites take in views of the countryside and feature balconies and outdoor baths.
Partake of yoga and movement classes, massages and spa treatments; or perhaps you may like to enjoy a bike ride along the pristine Te Arai Beach to get a true sense of place.

many many many thanks!!!!!!"

Planning a 7 week trip is daunting enough without the complications of COVID cancellations, rebookings, and closures. Yet every connection, every transportation detail, every accommodation, every meal, everything was flawless.
We can't thank Southern Crossings enough for making this trip all, and more, than we had imagined. You allowed us to see the best of your countries: the people, the beauty, the culture. Five stars, a blue ribbon, and a gold medal to everyone at Southern Crossings!"
