PurePods is a collection of eco-friendly, glass encased cabins in various locations throughout New Zealand. It doesn't get more off the beaten track than this!
PurePods are perfect for those who want to completely switch off and do nothing, in a beautiful countryside setting. PurePods were designed with sustainable luxury in mind, utilising solar panels, recycled water and eco-friendly waste systems. Each is set in a completely private location, so much so that guests are required to walk between 300 metres to 1.2 kilometres to access their PurePod. Most are located on working New Zealand farms, all with wonderful views of the countryside. Away from city lights, PurePods are perfect for stargazing!
PurePods come with everything you need including a bed with linen, shower, flush toilet, heating, gas hob, board games, reference books and table and chairs. Guests are welcome to take their own provisions, or opt for the pre-prepared hampers which come with a cheese platter, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, locally grown vegetables and your choice of protein to prepare on the hob or bbq. Feel free to bring your own tipple to enjoy also.
PurePods are found in a growing number of locations throughout New Zealand, from the Bay of Islands in the north, to Stewart Island in the south.
The remote locations and glass ceilings make PurePods perfect for stargazers!

Planning a 7 week trip is daunting enough without the complications of COVID cancellations, rebookings, and closures. Yet every connection, every transportation detail, every accommodation, every meal, everything was flawless.
From our arrival in Sydney .. to our last stop in Queenstown .. we will carry with us the best memories of our trip and all of your efforts. The incredible private boat tours .. the bespoke wine tours with the best guides .. our accommodations .. and the excellent itinerary and pacing, made for a perfect trip.
We can't thank Southern Crossings enough for making this trip all, and more, than we had imagined. You allowed us to see the best of your countries: the people, the beauty, the culture. Five stars, a blue ribbon, and a gold medal to everyone at Southern Crossings!
