Farewell to The Jewel Group
New Zealand has recently bid farewell to the prestigious tour, ‘The Jewel that is New Zealand’.
The group of more than forty friends shipped their beautiful collectors cars from the UK and Europe to New Zealand where they spent three weeks touring the country with Southern Crossings.
Enjoying the most spectacular Autumn weather, the caravan of rare, classic and prestige cars travelled the length of the country from Queenstown in the South Island to the far reaches of the North Island.
The group delighted in many of New Zealand’s scenic highlights – such as Milford Sound, Aoraki Mt Cook and Waiheke Island, whilst enjoying numerous behind-the-scenes experiences including private sculpture parks and member only golf courses, boutique wineries and private country estates along the way.
They enjoyed exclusive use of some of New Zealand’s most outstanding luxury lodges including The Farm at Cape Kidnappers in Hawkes Bay, Huka Lodge at Taupo and The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs in the Bay of Islands.
It was a privilege to host to such a wonderful group of world travellers who departed our shores after the most memorable of trips which they rated as ‘exceeding every expectation at every turn’ and a with the strongest of desires to return.
