Surrounded by established gardens and fringed by the Morton National Park, Osborn House is a boutique hotel with old world country club glamour and contemporary comforts in the scenic Southern Highlands, two hours’ south of Sydney.
Nestled between the Morton National Park and Bundanoon village, Osborn House has been welcoming guests for more than a century. The recent reimagining of this historic property has created a new level of luxury with a refined yet relaxed retreat in the Southern Highlands that seamlessly combines country charms and contemporary elegance.
Osborn House’s 22 guest rooms include cosy wood-panelled Forest Lodges (complete with outdoor bath), elegant suites with four-poster beds and garden terraces with leafy views.
The Osborn House boutique hotel offering also includes a choice of dining experiences: a Latin American-inspired Fire Kitchen restaurant and a warm and welcoming lounge bar.
Meanwhile, the on-site Osborn House Country Club includes a tennis and pickle ball court, well-equipped gym, 25m indoor heated pool and jacuzzi as well as a day spa with infra-red sauna and steam room. Forest Lodge guests also enjoy access to a Forest Bathing deck with its own sauna, ice-bath, jacuzzi and firepit enjoying Morton National Park views.
With all this at hand, it is entirely conceivable that guests of Osborn House may never want to leave – but equally hard to resist is the call of the surrounding region’s attractions: bushwalking, cycling, horse-riding, golf, truffle hunting (June-August), browsing the boutiques and galleries of the Southern Highlands’s historic villages or indulging in the region’s deliciously decadent dining experiences.
-
Foodie travellers will delight in Osborn House’s monthly Fire Feast events – and the wide range of fabulous eateries and wineries in the surrounding region.
- Notes
Osborn House welcomes children 12 years of age and above.
