Just minutes from Nelson, Okoro Villa is situated on an elevated 126-acre private estate enjoying complete privacy and sweeping views over the Tasman National Park coastline.
Okoro Villa and its neighbouring ‘treehouse’ can together accommodate up to eight guests who all also enjoy exclusive-use of the heated infinity pool, firepit, sauna, plunge-pool and cedar hot-tub. The private villa experience is completed with daily housekeeping and chef-prepared meals tailored to guests’ tastes; whilst yoga, massage and other healing practices can also be arranged.
With three generously proportioned guest suites; two bathrooms, spacious open-plan living and dining, a separate media room and relaxation room, Okoro Villa’s interiors reflect the natural tones and textures of the surrounding landscapes to provide a sense of place and calm, infused with warmth and luxury. The elevated one-bedroom Okoro Treehouse overlooks the property’s orchard, with peaks to Tasman Bay beyond.
Surrounded by beautiful bushland – much of which the owners have helped to regenerate through native plantings and pest eradication programs – Okoro Villa offers direct access to scenic walking and mountain-biking trails (and there’s an on-site heli-pad to arrive or tour in style). Kayaking, fishing and winery touring are also on offer in the surrounding region. The area is home to bountiful birdlife and there’s even a glow-worm grotto just a short stroll from the villa.
Whilst the property is available for exclusive-use for up to eight indulged guests; the Okoro Suite and Treehouse can also be booked separately to accommodate couples with shared use of Okoro Villa’s dining spaces and leisure amenities.
For each guest stay, a native tree is planted on the Okoro Villa Estate, creating a meaningful contribution to conservation and a lasting connection to the land.
