Seaplane across to Rottnest to snap a selfie with a quokka and cruise the island’s idyllic bays to enjoy a leisurely lobster lunch. Feast your way around Fremantle’s fabulous foodie finds and heli down the coast to land at the lovely Leeuwin Estate. Enjoy three days of Cape to grape, farm-to-fork exclusive epicurean experiences meeting local winemakers, chefs and artisans with Cape Lodge as your luxurious Margaret River base.
Itinerary
On arrival in Perth, transfer to your accommodation.
This evening, head out on the town with an ‘in-the-know’ local to discover a collection of Perth’s hottest watering holes. Toast and graze your way around the city’s lively laneways and eat streets on this private guided walking tour of Perth.
Accommodation: Como the Treasury, Perth (3 nights)
Today’s private tour takes you to the Swan Valley (with an orientation tour of Perth en-route). The hot, dry climate of Western Australia’s oldest wine region produces chenin, blanc, verdelho, shiraz, chardonnay, viogner, zinfandel and a s range of fortified ‘stickies’ served at cellar doors and restaurants dotted around the picturesque valley, including Sandalford, Mandoon Estate and Olive Farm Wines on today’s itinerary. Go behind-the-scenes and enjoy tutored tastings, paired cheeses and a delicious two course lunch overlooking the manicured gardens of Mandoon Estate.
No need to venture far for dinner this evening, we can recommend Wildflower right on your doorstep where the creative contemporary menu celebrates the time-honoured seasons of the Noongar calendar.

Take off by seaplane from the Swan River to enjoy a scenic flight over the city and it’s beaches across to Rottnest Island. Snap a selfie with a cute and curious local on a guided quokka walk before boarding your private seafood cruise on Rottnest’s turquoise waters. Enjoy sparkling wine and canapes as your crew set about catching a cray for your lunch, then settle in for a seven-course seafood feast including freshly caught lobsters, oysters and crab; octopus, salmon, salads and dessert served with Western Australian wines. Enjoy the sunshine or swim off the back of the boat before cruising back to Fremantle where your specialist local food guide is waiting to escort you on an evening exploration of Fremantle’ favourite foodie finds to provide a local’s taste of the historic harbourside township.
At the end of the evening, you will be transferred back to your accommodation where we can recommend a nightcap at Post or the nearby Poole’s Temple.

This morning, a private scenic heli-flight over the Western Australian coast delivers you directly to the Margaret River, landing at the lovely Leeuwin Estate where you will be greeted to a glass of sparkling and treated to a farm-to-fork experience at the highly-acclaimed family-owned estate. Your stay also includes a tour of the Leeuwin Art Gallery’s collection of contemporary Australian artworks that feature on the winery’s iconic ‘Art Series’ labels and tutored tastings of a range of Leeuwin Estate wines.
After lunch, transfer to Cape Lodge.
In the heart of the Margaret River, Cape Lodge is long-renowned for its award-winning regional dining. A la carte breakfasts and daily-changing dinner menus are included with your stay.

Your private Margaret River touring begins today with a guided coastal walk to work up an appetite for your visit to Vasse Felix where the winemaker will take you on a tour of the Margaret River’s original vineyards and lead you on a tasting of the Vasse Felix Collection, before handing you over to meet the chef who has curated today’s five course tasting menu with premium paired wines.
Transfer back to your accommodation. Situated on 40 acres of manicured gardens and surrounded by the estate’s vineyards, there’s plenty of space to enjoy the serenity and time to enjoy an afternoon swim or hit of tennis before sitting down to a locally-sourced lakeside dinner.
