We are very proud and humbled for Southern Crossings to have been named ‘Best Large Inbound Tour Operator’ 2024.
Presented at the annual Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) Conference in Invercargill (7 August 2024), the well-contested award recognises “excellence in terms of quality, professional development for team, health and safety, sustainability, business systems and outstanding visitor experiences”.
The award was collected by Helen Flinkenberg (Director – Southern Crossings New Zealand) and Jane Turner (Operations Manager – Southern Crossings New Zealand) on behalf of the entire Southern Crossings New Zealand team.
“We are incredibly humbled and honoured to be recognised with this award that is both judged by the Tourism Export Council of New Zealand and voted on by the people we work with every day. It is true testament to our teams’ unwavering professionalism and unrivalled passion of which I am very proud.” says Sarah Farag, Southern Crossings Director, New Zealand.
The Best Large Inbound Tour Operator of the Year is a new award category introduced at this year’s TECNZ Awards. It recognises “the best in the business” for Inbound Tour Operators with more than 10 full-time employees. This award comes off the back of a number of other recent achievements of which we are incredibly proud and that also serve as testament to Southern Crossings’ creativity and commitment to inspiring and delivering standard-setting luxury travel experiences – not least of all including Virtuoso Best On-Site globally in 2022 and 2023.
