Itinerary
Transfer from Cairns to your rainforest treetop hideaway home for the next three-nights, Silky Oaks Lodge.
Daily tropical breakfasts, evening drinks with canapes and dinner with matched wines are included with your stay, as are morning yoga classes, a collection of signature experiences and a return scheduled transfer to Port Douglas daily.

Explore your rainforest surrounds with a full-day private tour that includes a guided rainforest hike to the stunning Wangetti Falls before cooking up a storm with a private cooking experience that sources many of the key exotic ingredients from the productive kitchen garden. Then sit down to enjoy the spoils of your labour in the tranquil rainforest surrounds.
Return to Silky Oaks Lodge for a private chef-led tour of the property’s Edible Garden that supplies many of the ingredients enjoyed throughout your stay.

Learn the how to forage and feast like a local in the engaging company of a Kuku Yulanji Indigenous guide who will introduce you to local Aboriginal hunting and gathering techniques with opportunities to sample the delicious bush tucker that your surrounds have served up for millennia. Your half-day private Indigenous introduction to Kuku Yulanji country also includes a visit to Botanic Ark with morning tea. Botanic Ark is an inspiring showcase of local plants and conservation.
